Donna was previously employed with the Government of Canada on an ongoing basis since 1979. During her tenure, she has acquired many skills that will serve the Multicultural Association of Carleton County (MACC) well. She is knowledgeable and experienced in the design, delivery, monitoring and auditing of programs and services to clients. Donna has worked as an employment counselor assisting individuals to recognize employment goals and facilitated their accomplishments. She has managed many different offices and has worked diligently to ensure that all persons are treated respectfully and fairly in the workplace. She is firm believer of equal and fair treatment of all individuals and deems it their right in life. She believes in ongoing education and is willing to learn new insights into human relations. Through the successful completion of the certification program at Dalhousie Law School she is a trained mediator and negotiator. She has been involved in many volunteer capacities to better serve the needs of the visible minority population, disabled, youth, aboriginals, older displaced workers, women in non- traditional jobs and seniors. She is a past Rotarian, and a past member of the Canadian Paraplegic Association and the Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte County.
