• Born and raised in Carleton County.
• Attended Saint Thomas University in Fredericton gaining a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees.
• Before teaching career worked at various jobs; line worker in a sawmill, roughneck on an oil rig, and as a deckhand on a prawn trawler to name a few.
• Taught multi-level classes in rural Alberta and northern Saskatchewan.
• Taught as an instructor at the University of New Brunswick English Language Programme in Fredericton
• Moved to Quebec
• Formed a company which provided customized English language training courses for businesses in Quebec City and surrounding areas.
• Had a secondary business which built pyramids.
• Returned to New Brunswick; everybody comes back.
• Coordinated a literacy project called Ring to Read.
• Produced a CD Rom to assist unilingual parents in helping their children with second language.
• Reside in the thriving metropolis of Upper Kent with Danielle and our dog Jiggs.
• I like to read, cook and mow my lawn
